Other Materials and Techniques

Some of the techniques used in our workshop are not limited to a single material or specific method.

While wood, metal, leather, and clay each have their own dedicated space, this section brings together other materials and techniques used occasionally or across different types of work.

Secondary Materials

Among these materials, we find for example:

  • beeswax, used for modelling or finishing
  • threads and strings, used for assembling or securing small parts
  • other occasional materials, chosen according to the needs of each project

Versatile Techniques

Some techniques can be applied to different materials:

  • turning, shaping, or modelling, which can be used on wood, metal, wax, or other substances
  • assembling and fastening, common methods shared by several materials to create stable structures
  • finishing methods, adapted according to the type of material or the desired effect
