At the Heart of the Workshop

Our workshop is a place where a variety of materials and multiple techniques come together.

Each material, whether steel, copper, wood, leather or stone, has its own working methods, but some techniques are common and can be applied to several of them.

For example, it is possible to turn both wood and copper, or to use a rasp to remove material from wood as well as stone.

We use a wide range of processes including material removal such as cutting, filing, and drilling, adding material such as soldering, brazing, and assembling, or shaping through forging, hammering, and forming.

Depending on the need, the same tool can be used on different materials, providing great freedom in creation.

Expertise does not stop at fabrication.

It begins much earlier, with the purchase or selection of materials.

Choosing high-quality metal, suitable wood or stone with the desired properties is a crucial step that determines the strength, durability, and aesthetics of the final pieces.
